Students from two schools in Kisii County delayed sitting for
their national exam on Monday after their papers went missing from the
police armoury.
There was anxiety in the morning after
papers for 586 candidates in Nyabururu Girls and Kisii Boys High schools
could not be traced.
Supervisors from the respective
schools arrived Kisii Central police station to collect the papers but
were informed that their packages were missing.
However
at around 10am, the supervisors were called back and told that their
papers were found packed with those of Kisumu North district.
Nyabururu principal Emelda Onchenga and her Kisii Boys counterpart Casper Maina declined to comment on the issue.
